David attended Baylor University where he earned a B.A. in 1978. He also attended Baylor University’s School of Law where graduated cum laude in 1980. In addition to his fifteen years in the private practice of health law, he has also served as assistant general counsel for Baylor Health Care System and General Counsel for Incarnate Word Health Services. He is currently Of Counsel with Brin & Brin for the Health Law Section and has represented numerous health care clients, including many non-profit health corporations, in general health law and transactional law. David’s experience includes a broad spectrum of transactions including the creation of non-profit organizations and complex contracting arrangements.

David is currently a member of the San Antonio Bar Association, American Health Lawyers Association and Health Law Section of State Bar of Texas. He has also served as a Board Member for the South Texas Society of Healthcare Risk Management and as a Council Member for the Health Law Section, State Bar of Texas.
