George’s clients know him as one of the foremost trial lawyers in the State of Texas. He has tried over 350 cases to jury verdict. His expertise ranges from high profile commercial disputes to negligence involving medical, legal and other professions, to product liability and high risk personal injury matters. In the course of his career, George has hired, trained and mentored many of the top trial lawyers in South Texas.
George attended Texas Christian University where he earned a B.A. in 1964. He also attended Southern Methodist University where he earned an L.L.B.
George was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1967 and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He is listed under Personal Injury Litigation in The Best Lawyers in America.
George is a member of and has served in leadership roles throughout the various associations in the legal profession including: the Corpus Christi Bar Association, where he served as President from 1979-1980; the Texas Association of Defense Counsel; the San Antonio Bar Association; the International Association of Defense Counsel; the Defense Research Institute; the Texas Bar Foundation, Fellow; the American Board of Trial Advocates, and the Association of Attorney Mediators.
